WHO WE ARE
HT-TTM Patent Office started functioning as “Patent Office of Hacettepe University” with the approval of Hacettepe University Rectorate as of 2013 to provide technical support to academicians of Hacettepe University and the industry as part of the intellectual and industrial property rights. The main duty of our Patent Office is to evaluate the inventions made during the scientific studies at our University concerning patentability and the opportunity for commercialization. We guide our academicians in the process of Intellectual Property Rights, and especially regarding the patent process. As part of the collaboration between University and Industry, patentable invention subjects that can be commercialized may come out either from the projects such as ARDEB, TEYDEB and HORIZON or from the business ideas of our Entrepreneurship Office. As Patent Office, we draw a road map and make guidance for the inventors in this process. We are included in this process and give the service required for Intellectual Property Rights. Our experienced team consists of specialists who have experienced in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and assigned as Deputy by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. On the other hand, HT-TTM Patent Office is the “Information & Document Unit” of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and also a “PATLIB- Patent Information Center” of the European Patent Office.’PATLIB Patent Bilgi Merkezi‘dir.
